The Istrian Parliament

This authentic gothic Franciscan church was built in the 13th century, its inside received marks of baroque culture during the 18th century and since the 19th century, when it was the seat of the Istrian Parliament, it has been known as the Parliament.  Its baroque ceiling with illusionistic frescos inside medallions is especially distinctive.

It is located in Poreč's old city between Juraj Dobrila Park and Matko Laginja Quay, and you can visit it every day especially during the choir event 'Naš kanat je lip' (Our song is beautiful) and during the Annale art exhibit.
