Demer en Laak is a Belgian wind orchestra from Lummen (in the province of Limburg). The orchestra was founded in 1980 and has grown to a group of 90 musicians with a wide range of ages. Every 4 years they make a music tour in Europe. After Toscany, Vienna and Prague, they decided to come to Istria this year with about 70 musicians. The orchestra is conducted by Mr. Sven Creyns.
A combination of attention for musical quality and an up-to-date repertoire is their key for succes. Classical work, movie soundtracks and pop music are all part of the wide varied playlist.
