How can I reach the destinations in Istria from the airport in Trieste?
The information on transport can be found at the official web site of the Ronchi dei Legionari Airport, Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Trieste Bus Station. There are everyday bus lines from the Trieste Bus Station to Istria. All the information on departures and arrivals can be found at the Pula Bus Station web pages.


How can I reach the destinations in Istria from the Venice airport?
The information on transport can be found at the official web site of the Marco Polo Airport in Venice as well as at the web site of the Trieste Bus Station. The choice of the means of transport depends on the time of your arrival at the Venice airport. You can take a bus from Venice to Pula or travel by train to Trieste and then take a bus to the Istrian destinations. There are everyday bus lines from the Trieste bus station to Istria. All the information on departures and arrivals can be found at the Pula Bus Station web pages.


Is there a vignette for Istria?
No.


Can I pay bills in euro?
Yes, from January 1st, 2023 the new official currency in the Republic of Croatia is the euro (EUR).

Can I book an accommodation at the Tourist Board?
No, the Tourist Board of the city of Poreč does not make reservations for hotel accommodation, nor does it make reservations for private accomodation, rooms, pensions or campsites.

Where can buses or campers park?
There are two parking lots for buses and campers in Poreč: parking lot Žatika and the parking lot within Poreč bus station.

Are you allowed to spend the night in a camper in the parking lot?
No. In Croatia, camping in open spaces outside of registered campsites is not allowed, and such camping is punishable. Camping is allowed only within campsites or registered caravan rest areas.  


Is there a passenger transfer service from Pula Airport to Poreč?
Yes, there is a shuttle bus from Pula Airport to Poreč. There is also a shuttle bus from Poreč to Pula Airport.

The town market of Poreč is situated in the very center of the town, near the large city parking lot.
Market opening hours:
Monday – Sunday: 6 am – 2 pm
