PROGRAM OF THE CELEBRATION OF THE FEAST OF ST. MAURUS IN POREČ 2025
11:00 – Poreč Home for the Elderly and Disabled, literary workshop dedicated to the Feast of St. Maurus
10:30 – Euphrasian Basilica, solemn mass on the feast of St. Maurus, patron saint of the Poreč Diocese and the City of Poreč, concelebrated by Mons. Dr. Peter Štumpf, Bishop of Koper. After the mass, the traditional procession with the relics of St. Maurus will take place through the streets of Poreč.
10:00 – Freedom Square, entertainment program – Alfa Time Band
10:30 – City waterfront, traditional free snack in front of the boat “St. Mauro”
12:30 – Freedom Square, serving of traditional dishes – brodet with polenta, codfish; entertainment by Alfa Time Band
13:00 – Žatika Hall, opening of the Crofish Fair – 17th International Fair of Fishing, Fishing Equipment, Aquaculture, Sport Fishing, and Water Sports, open until 23 November
18:00 – Euphrasian Basilica, evening mass on the feast of St. Maurus, celebrated by Mons. Ivan Štironja, Bishop of Poreč and Pula. Following the mass, diocesan awards will be presented to laypeople who have made significant contributions to parish life.
