At the heart of the festival lies TunIstra – an international big game fishing tournament, bringing together experienced anglers and passionate sea lovers from various countries. Throughout the week, Poreč lives to the rhythm of tuna: while crews compete at sea in pursuit of impressive catches, the city waterfront turns into a vibrant meeting point filled with socialising and enjoyment.
A special festival atmosphere is created by Tunalicious Street Food, offering a rich selection of creative and classic tuna dishes, accompanied by live music and evening programmes. Daily weigh-ins of the catch further enhance the excitement, allowing visitors to experience the competitive spirit of the tournament first-hand.
