Concerts, Movies, and Emotions Under the Starry Sky

This summer again, Poreč transforms into an open-air stage — a place where culture, entertainment, sea, and history meet in a unique rhythm. From June until the end of September, the city lives through concerts, festivals, exhibitions, film nights, and unique outdoor experiences, turning Poreč into a colorful Mediterranean mosaic of music, meetings, and emotions.

A Summer Stage on Every Corner

Olga Ban Park, Liberty Square, Euphrasian Basilica, the Lapidarium of the Regional Museum, the city waterfront, and squares become magical open-air stages during summer, making Poreč a city where music and gatherings fill the evenings.

The main musical highlight of the summer will be the concert of Mario Biondi, the Italian soul and jazz star, taking place on August 8th at Liberty Square. The audience will enjoy his velvety voice and sophisticated production in a spectacular open-air setting.

Special musical evenings will feature tribute bands reviving the hits of Elvis, ABBA, Lady Gaga, and Zucchero, enriching Poreč’s summer nights with their distinctive sound and energy.

The summer will also include a performance by the "Sveti Juraj" klapa of the Croatian Navy — an emotional concert full of traditional songs that remind us of the strength of Croatian musical heritage.

For those seeking softer music and a more intimate atmosphere, the jazz concerts within Jazz in Lapidarium, gathering renowned artists from Croatia and abroad, and the Concerts in the Euphrasian Basilica, which for 64 consecutive years offer top classical music experiences in a beautiful UNESCO setting, are unmissable.

Enjoy relaxing summer evenings at Liberty Square with Music on the Square, a program where local bands perform live in various genres — from jazz to rock and blues. Join in and enjoy music under the stars in a laid-back atmosphere.

A Festival of New Experiences

This year’s program is full of exciting novelties, including Mystic Forest, which combines aerial dance, light installations, and music. It will be held in ten sessions from June to September in the magical setting of Olga Ban Park.

An exciting new event is POCO — the Poreč Cocktail Festival, taking place on July 11th and 12th, 2025. Set amid the greenery of Olga Ban Park, POCO offers a two-day experience full of flavors, colors, and rhythms, perfect for summer evenings.

From June 27th to 29th, Poreč becomes the sweetest place in Istria once again — the second edition of the Gelato Park ice cream festival brings an even richer program, more exhibitors, and all-day entertainment for all ages, with irresistible flavors and attractive activities for the whole family.

Cinema Under the Stars and Walks Through Poreč’s History

Poreč Sunset Cinema offers the magic of open-air film nights, with the scent of pine trees, the sound of the sea, and sunset in an intimate grove above the marina. Before and after screenings, DJs create a relaxed atmosphere perfect for socializing and sipping cocktails under the stars.

Popular tours “La mula de Parenzo” — interpretative and educational walks — also return this year. Through a light and enjoyable stroll in the old town center, visitors discover the rich history, legends, and cultural heritage of Poreč in an engaging way.

Tradition, Sports, and Sea Challenges

The streets and squares of Poreč will come alive even more in August thanks to Street Art Poreč, a street art festival that gathers performers, musicians, visual artists, and acrobats.

In September, Poreč once again becomes the center of top gastronomy, sport fishing, and fun! Tunalicious Festival and the TunIstra tournament bring together lovers of the sea, adrenaline, and tuna, while Tunalicious Street Food on the waterfront offers tuna specialties alongside performances by top musicians. The gastronomic experience is completed by the Tuna Restaurant Week, featuring tuna dishes in the best Poreč restaurants.

Water sports enthusiasts must not miss Porečki delfin — a three-day event full of sports challenges like swimming marathon, aquathlon, SUP regatta, kayak races, and water polo, with a rich entertainment and gastronomic program for the whole family.
