Diving in the deep blue sea
The Istrian undersea world will delight all lovers of sea depths or will help you become one yourself.
Thanks to warm sea temperatures it is possible to dive all year while the seabed offers you the chance to discover the rich plant and animal life, shipwrecks and numerous underwater reefs. Experienced instructors will teach those less experienced how to safely enjoy the quiet blue of the Mediterranean undersea world and your active holiday. Diving centres are well equipped and organise diving schools and courses during the summer (CMAS, PADI, NITROX, APNEA), and are able to accommodate larger groups of divers should it be necessary. The safety of each diver is further guaranteed by the knowledge that a hyperbaric chamber is located nearby in Pula.
In the Poreč centres you will be able to rent all the necessary equipment, fill air tanks and dive into adventure with professional assistance. Diving centres are open from the beginning of April until the end of October, though excursions can be organised outside of this period. Try your hand at a night diving expedition – it’s an experience you won’t soon forget!
