Electric bus

In Poreč, electric buses connect the city centre with numerous suburban settlements. The City of Poreč-Parenzo launched this environmentally friendly public transport service in 2021 as part of the EU-funded SUTRA project, and the public transport network has continued to develop and expand ever since.

The first electric minibus is a low-floor vehicle equipped with a mechanical ramp, making it accessible to persons with disabilities. It is also equipped with bicycle racks, encouraging multimodality and the combination of different environmentally friendly means of transport.

The buses operate circular routes on the following lines:

Line 1: Poreč Bus Station – Lacop – Mate Vlašića – Stancija Portun – Antonci – Kosinožići – Vežnaveri – Nova Vas – Mihatovići – Kukci – Vranići – Vrh Špadići – Donji Špadići – NC-PO180 road (western side of the Mate Balota residential area) – Novo naselje South – Poreč Bus Station.

Line 2: Poreč Bus Station – Lacop – Mate Vlašića – Stancija Vodopija East – Červar Porat – Stancija Vodopija West – Veli Maj – Mali Maj – NC-PO180 (western side of the Mate Balota residential area) – Poreč Bus Station.

From 7 September 2026, the public transport network will be expanded with the new Line 3, connecting Poreč with Baderna and the settlements along the route.

Line 3: Poreč Bus Station – Veleniki – Varvari – Musalež – Stancija Diklić – Kadumi/Radoši – Filipini – Buići – Žbandaj – Ladrovići – Bonaci – Baderna – Bonaci 2 – Ladrovići – Žbandaj – Filipini – Buići – Radoši – Musalež – Stancija Diklić – Veleniki – Varvari – Poreč Bus Station.

The new line has been made possible by the acquisition of an additional electric bus, co-financed by the European Union through the SUMMA project within the Italy–Croatia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2021–2027.

Fares: according to the currently published timetable, a daily ticket costs €1.32, while a monthly ticket costs €13.20. From 7 September 2026, public transport will be free of charge for residents of the City of Poreč-Parenzo.

Buses operate according to the current timetable, which can be checked on the official website of the City of Poreč-Parenzo.
